The SICK Augmented Reality Assistant (SARA) enables visualization of sensor data directly where the sensor is used. The SARA app brings together recorded sensor data and the real environment on the screen of the mobile end device. Data visualization speeds up troubleshooting and facilitates commissioning, for example by displaying warning fields and sites of object detection.
The SARA cockpit can be downloaded under the “Software” item.
Functions of the SARA cockpit:
The SARA cockpit facilitates installation and management of SARA services. The Cockpit makes it possible to carry out initial installation including the CodeMeter Runtime for license management. It can also be used to update or uninstall existing SARA installations. Adding SSL and TLS certificates is also possible with the cockpit, and a status display for the services and licenses can be viewed.
Scan the appropriate QR code for the operating system of your device. Download and install the SARA app.
After the installation, start the app and scan the appropriate QR code to switch to demo mode. This simulates a safety laser scanner and displays its field of view as well as warning and protective field.
